Kapu System is a militant roots reggae force rising out of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, amplifying the voices of Kanaka Maoli and Indigenous peoples worldwide. Since 2010, they've delivered heavyweight riddims and timeless lyrics, calling out injustice and shaking Babylon to its core.

At the heart of the movement is Kanakamon, a voice forged in struggle and sharpened by truth. From underground roots shows to big stages, his rise is a testament to resistance and resilience. Known for his raw energy and fearless delivery, Kanakamon embodies the warrior spirit of the lāhui, channeling the pain, pride, and power of the people into every verse.

With roots staples like “Can’t Waste No Time,” “Don’t Be So Quick,” and “Rootshall,” Kapu System doesn’t just play music, they spark revolution and speak directly to the soul.

Now joined by the raw and commanding voice of Small Axe, the band’s fire has only grown stronger. Together, they deliver Small Axe’s rebel anthems like “Run Dem Mouth” and “Ghettomon Skank,” while balancing the heat inna lovers stylee with the forever classics “Empress” and “Love Attack.”

Fueled by Word, Sound & Power, this band doesn’t just perform, they rally the people and are here to liberate. Kapu System & Small Axe are a guaranteed crowd-bringer, mashing down Babylon with every set, and they're only getting louder!
